Job overview
Supporting and assisting Clinicians in a variety of Gynaecology Clinics within the Gynaecology Outpatient Department. This will involve Colposcopy, Minor Ops, Hysteroscopy, 2-week wait, urogynae, routine Gynae and nurse-led clinics.
Main duties of the job
1. Prepare for the different clinics and support clinicians & patients within their appointment.
2. Ensure clinics are running efficiently, using the resources available, anticipating requirements of clinicians and patients.
3. Have responsibility for HCA's in the clinical areas, and support them whilst on duty.
4. Ensure patients are cared for to the highest standards, underpinned by the Trust's Values and Behaviours.

Education and qualifications
* Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Experience and knowledge
* Relevant experience of looking after patients in a healthcare environment
* Previous NHS experience within the last 12 months
* Previous experience within an Acute setting
* Broad clinical knowledge base
