A long-established law firm in Oldham is seeking a Civil Litigation Fee Earner/Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to gain experience in a varied and challenging caseload while working in a supportive and reputable firm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage or assist with a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to:
2. Contractual disputes
3. Employment matters
4. Settlement agreements
5. TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act) cases
6. Neighbour/boundary disputes
7. Will and inheritance disputes
8. Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and correspond with clients, solicitors, and other parties.
9. Prepare cases for litigation and manage the procedural aspects of cases through to settlement or trial.
10. Offer professional advice and support to clients while maintaining high levels of client care and service.
11. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and relevant legal procedures.
Requirements:
1. Experience in civil litigation is essential.
2. Experienced fee earner, Solicitor or legal executive.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
