Job Overview Evaluate and ensure all project targets are met Survey new projects and meet potential clients to ascertain project requirements for pricing Manage projects from concept to closure Capture clients' requirements and create scope of works Communicate customer needs to estimator and architectural technician Manage design and estimating work to optimise operational efficiency Create project plans including cost plans, programmes, and resource plans Liaise with Operations Manager and sales team Plan and provide appropriate resources for all projects Provide proactive solutions for potential issues Ensure projects adhere to timelines and quality standards Recruit team members in line with succession planning Source bona fide sub-contractors and specialists Carry out project closure and capture performance information and lessons learned Responsibilities and Accountabilities Suggest and implement improved systems for business benefit Accountable for successful performance against targets/budgets High interaction with customers to ensure correct specification and pricing Review project requirements, changes, and costings with clients Create project valuations for invoicing Review performance of direct reports through monthly 1-2-1s and appraisals Plan and implement work schedules with sales team Responsible for project management from concept to review Ensure adherence to Health and Safety on site Prepare monthly financial reports and project progress reports Escalate issues to Operations Manager Manage financial aspects of sub-contractors Make quick, concise, and correct decisions independently Contribute to strategic growth plans for the business Key Behaviour/Competency Indicators Ability to lead large teams Competence to manage large financial KPIs independently Train and coach others to raise capability Provide robust solutions to day-to-day issues High level of confidence in decision-making Demonstrate professionalism at all levels of the organisation Quality representative of the business in events and networking Promote company standards and core values Core Values Can-do attitude and passion for getting things right first time Treat all employees with equal respect Maintain customer-focused attitude Open to learning new skills and ways of working Aspire to become an Operations Manager or Director Trusted and reliable team member Positive attitude and influence on others Professional presentation with branded uniform PPE KPIs Deliver all projects in full, on time, and in spec Achieve target gross margin on every project Deliver agreed cost plan per job Collect positive customer and team feedback (5/5) 0% error rate on Health and Safety issues Ensure sufficient and correct resources for each job Seamless communication between departments What's on offer Up to £40,000 DOE £5,000 Car Allowance 25 Days Annual Leave Bank Holidays Pension Additional Benefits (To Be Determined) ADZN1_UKTJ
