Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the Aintree LOSS Weight Management Team based at Aintree Hospital. You will be an integral part of the team helping people living with obesity to manage thier weight and, as the first contact for patients accessing the service, will have an important role in welcoming and helping our patients feel supported throughout their engagement with us. You will work as part of a small administrative team to provide administratve support for all the clinicans and ensuring patients in the service have a smooth journey with us. Main duties of the job To undertake clerical duties within the office area and provide reception duties to ensure the needs of the service are met. This will include: Processing referrals. Dealing with telephone, text and email queries. Scheduling appointments to maximise clinic utilisation. Actioning tasks from clinicians including sending onward referrals and clinic notes and managing waiting lists. Clinic reception as needed. Attending Team meetings.
