What does the Gleeds Apprenticeship Programme offer you?
You’ll be able to choose your own path at Gleeds, being able to work across the full spectrum of our varied service range, giving you a 360 exposure to a business that is a leader in many sectors.
Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the opportunity to study and obtain a BA or BSc Honours Degree in Project Management, whilst gaining hands on experience. This includes on the job learning, mentorship, professional reviews, a dedicated development team and all the tools and support needed to be successful in your career! You will follow the Project manager (integrated degree) Level 6 apprenticeship standard. This apprenticeship runs over five years and includes studying for a BA or BSc Honours degree in Project Management.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will work towards qualifying to become a full member of Association for Project Management (APM), the Chartered Body for the Project Profession.
As an Apprentice Project Manager you will support the Project Managers in planning and coordinating projects from inception to delivery using a variety of project governance techniques. In Project Management you will coordinate resources, work to a budget, and ensure the operational performance of the programmes.
1. Delivering high quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet customer requirements.
2. Delivering high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.
3. Administering contracts as contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
4. Producing and presenting to customers.
5. Preparing bids for services.
6. Ensuring that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checks.
About You

* GCSEs, grades A*-C including Maths and English at (grade 4) and above or equivalent.
* 120 (UCAS) points from 2 or 3 A levels, or equivalent.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
* Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes.
* Good ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
