We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that is looking for 2 TAs to join the team from the summer term on a long-term basis. The school looks after a wide range of special needs & disabilities, which will often be complex needs.
The school is a truly unique environment and is incredibly proud of the work they do there - providing a valuable service to families in the area.
The Role
The role of TA mostly involves providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support. The 2 roles are available in primary & secondary so can be flexible depending on your experience!
Due to the needs of the students, it is imperative that you have some form of experience working with SEND, whether this be in a school setting or in support work. What's most important to them is having the right people working at the school; they need people who are patient, positive, enthusiastic, proactive, and hardworking.
