Our client is a family-run manufacturing company with clients in various industries including pharmaceutical, petrochemical, steel processing, and automotive. Through growth and success, they are looking to recruit a Manual Machinist on a permanent basis.

4. Standard 40 Hour Working Week: 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday (including ½ Hour Lunch Breaks), 7am - 1pm Friday
5. £20.00 Per Hour Standard Rate
6. £30.00 Per Hour Overtime Monday to Saturday Morning
7. £40.00 Per Hour Overtime Saturday Afternoon & Sunday
Position Overview:
We are looking for a time-served manual machinist who is proficient in milling, turning, and grinding. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing jigs and fixtures. They will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production of jigs and fixtures and meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Experience:
1. Experienced time-served machinist
2. Excellent manual milling, turning, and grinding skills
3. Capable of reading complex engineering drawings
4. Ideally have 10 years of manual machining experience
5. Experience of working on an XYZ Prototrak
6. Strong background in producing jigs and fixtures
7. Must have attention to detail, flexibility, and a team player mentality
8. Any experience of using a CMM would be advantageous
Hours of Work:
Mon-Thurs 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-1pm
