Job Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support EAL students. Fluency in Slovak would be highly desirable to assist in meeting the needs of our student community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, the ability to work well in a team, and be flexible to respond to the needs of different classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Support Teaching and Learning: Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons, supporting students' learning needs individually or in small groups. Classroom Management: Help maintain a calm, structured, and engaging classroom environment, ensuring students are focused and productive. Student Engagement: Encourage student participation and provide guidance to help them understand the lesson material, adapting to different learning styles. Behaviour Management: Assist with student behaviour, promoting positive conduct, and ensuring classroom rules are followed. Supervision: Oversee students during breaks, lunchtime, and other non-classroom activities, ensuring safety and well-being. Communication: Report any concerns about student behaviour, progress, or well-being to the lead teacher and provide input on classroom activities. Flexibility and Adaptability: Be willing to work in different classrooms, adapting to the specific needs of each setting and teacher. Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly. A flexible and adaptable approach to working in various schools and classrooms. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
