Job Title: Financial Planner
Location: Bishop Stortford (Herts)
Salary: Negotiable up to £100k
My client is an independent wealth planning firm with offices near Bishops Stortford. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent, and London. In their current setup, they manage the affairs of 300 clients with assets ranging from £250k - £8m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes.
The business has won numerous awards and is very engaged in local community events. They prioritize exceptional customer satisfaction, resulting in a very high retention rate, with some relationships stretching back over 10 years. The support team comprises an experienced team of pooled Administrators & outsourced Paraplanning.
The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for an experienced Financial Planner who will manage approximately £35m AUM (150 existing clients). This is a purely servicing role, freeing up the time of another adviser who will focus on generating new business. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably Chartered or aspires to work towards Chartered status. However, my client will consider someone with a restricted advice background. You will have dedicated admin and paraplanning support. Knowledge of Intelligent Office, Cashcal, or FE Analytics would be helpful.
Responsibilities:
* Manage existing client relationships and provide financial planning services.
* Work with an experienced team of Administrators & Paraplanning support.
Requirements:
* Experience in an independent wealth planning firm.
* Preferably Chartered or aspiring to achieve Chartered status.
* Knowledge of relevant financial software.
If this role sounds of interest or if you would like to discuss any other roles I am working on, please get in touch at peter@financialdivisions.co.uk.
