We are supporting a global manufacturer who are seeking to appoint a meticulous and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join the quality
Assurance team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensurepliance
with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. You will conduct microbiological testing to detect and quantify pathogens and other contaminants.
You will document and record tests accurately and maintain records of activities in accordance with requirements andpany policies, monitor and maintain lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration, operation and maintenance.
Working in partnership with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance and research and development, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring product quality and safety, assisting in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday with some flexibility on working hours.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in laboratory procedures, experience of food safety, and a passion for ensuring the highest level of product quality. You will have experience gained in a laboratory environment and be familiar with lab techniques and instrumentation including microscopy and spectrophotometry.
You will have a good understanding of food safety principles, HACCP, GMPS and regulatory requirements, have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strongmunications skills and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
