As our Head of Operations (Health and Social Care), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our services, ensuring we continue to provide outstanding care while fostering a positive and empowering culture. What You’ll Be Doing As a senior leader, you will oversee the strategic and operational performance of our care homes and care & support services, ensuring they align with the Trust’s mission and values. Your impact will be seen in: Quality & Compliance: Ensuring services meet and exceed Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, aspiring to ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings. Leadership & Culture: Developing and mentoring General Managers and service leads to create a culture of excellence, compassion, and empowerment. Financial & Operational Performance: Managing budgets, optimising occupancy, and driving efficiency to sustain high-quality care. Continuous Improvement: Leading service reviews, audits, and action plans to enhance service delivery and resident wellbeing. Collaboration & Influence: Working closely with key teams (Quality & Compliance, Estates, People) and external stakeholders to shape the future of health and social care at the Trust. A strategic mindset, with the ability to align operational delivery with long-term goals. Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysis. Expert knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and best practice.
