Senior Finance Manager

Our client, a multinational organisation, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance team, following an encouraging period of growth.
This role will play a key part in managing the finance team and function for the group, ensuring accurate financial reporting and implementation of financial processes. This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong track record of leading finance teams and knowledge of accounting principles who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and lead finance team with the ultimate aim to deliver a best-in-class service to the wider business.
* Responsible for all finance and accounting duties for the business unit and engagement with relevant business stakeholders.
* Manage and support finance function during the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
* Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS.
* Oversee and manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and relevant authorities.
* Review management accounts and manage cash flow across all entities, ensuring relevant funds are allocated.
* Handle group intercompany transactions, identifying any issues to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts, including the annual budgeting process.
* Drive continuous improvement and review financial processes and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Collaborate with other departments outside of finance to align financial and organisational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Strong leadership skills and a proven record of managing a team and cultivating a positive and collaborative working environment.
* 3 years’ experience within a managerial role in finance.
* Strong all-round financial and management accounting skills.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and experience preparing statutory accounts.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with wider business teams.
* Strong system skills, ideally experience working with SAP.
