Job summary
Antenatal Vaccination Nurse
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident nurse to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality antenatal immunisation service to patients having care at South Tees Foundation Trust. The post holder will support the current immunisation service, will maintain up to date electronic records and be part of regular audits to ensure the service is running effectively.
Main duties of the job
In addition, the post holder will provide advice and information about the current immunisation programme for pregnant people, educate staff and other stakeholders.
The post holder will be expected to take a public health and woman centred approach to improve health and tackle inequalities.
The post holder will assist with extra duties in the antenatal clinic such as initiating blood sugar monitoring and assisting the obstetric team.
This role may involve working across sites.

There is also an Institute of Learning, Research and Innovation on site, embracing postgraduate medical education, undergraduate teaching centre, nurse training school, the school of radiography and library facilities.
