Fund Oversight opportunity to join one of the leading names within the Investment Management Industry. Working on a broad range of tasks, including management of relationships with Third Party Administrators, Understanding the needs and strategy of Front Office & looking to improve the control across the funds - this role will be focused within Private Markets (Alternatives, Real Estate, Credit) and have the opportunity to work on different strategies. Responsibilities will include: Take ownership of a portfolio of Funds within the Private Markets division, ensuring smooth running & delivery of NAV via Third Party Administrators within agrees SLAs Highlighting errors within the NAV provided, and working with TPA to resolve and maintain high levels of accuracy throughout Work with colleagues across the Fund Oversight & Investment Office to understand the strategy of the funds within your remit - and be in position to support across key lifecycle / in-specie transactions Strong controls knowledge and able to guide on best practice for new funds when launched & ongoing controls Ensure that all controls and procedures are documented up to date. You will have: A background within Fund Accounting / Fund Oversight gained from either a similar role for an Asset Manager / Third Party Administrator This role would suit someone with circa 5-7years total experience (2-3years min within Fund Accounting) Technical experience of the pricing and workings of Investment Funds and alternative assets - an understanding of NAV and it's component parts & be able to identify errors Experience in setting up new processes and procedures and a drive for continual improvement Part / Fully Qualified Accountant advantageous - however Qualified by experience is no barrier £70-75,000 Base Salary Bonus 2-3 days in office (City based) Excellent wider benefits including strong pension Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
