The school are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join their school and assist in creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. As an LSA, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students with their learning needs, providing tailored assistance to individuals and small groups. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and supporting them through their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a variety of learning needs.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
* Support pupils with their emotional, social, and educational development.
* Foster positive relationships with children to encourage learning and self-confidence.
* Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
* Observe and report on pupil progress, ensuring any concerns are raised with the appropriate staff.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a learning support role, ideally within a primary school setting.
* A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children’s learning needs.
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
