Infrastructure, Projects & Energy Associate - Manchester
An exciting opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer with experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities or transport projects to join a dynamic and market leading practice.
The Role
Based within this highly ranked and growing Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team.
1. Working alongside Legal 500 and Chambers top-tier ranked lawyers.
2. Handling a broad range of commercial, contractual and advisory work.
3. Advising a client base across both the public and private sectors, including major developers, energy companies, utilities, transport authorities, local government bodies and international institutions.
4. Working across the full project lifecycle - from procurement and structuring, to execution and delivery.
5. Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts related to energy, utilities, transport and social infrastructure.
6. Advising on novel and complex infrastructure projects.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience (PQE) gained within a recognised commercial, projects, or infrastructure practice.
2. Exposure to one or more of the following sectors: energy, transport, utilities or public sector projects.
3. Strong commercial contracts drafting and negotiation skills.
