Responsible for ensuring completion of the annual Internal Controls campaign in accordance with Safran Group requirements, working with financial and non-financial, internal and external stakeholders. The role will also work with all business areas to enable all employees within SGB to have an awareness of Internal Controls.
Complementary Description
1. Organize the annual internal control self-assessment campaign for SEATS GB, in accordance with Group methodology.
2. Execute assessments of the control points of the internal control framework (including tests).
3. Support teams involved in the Internal Control campaign in defining any action plans resulting from the campaign, and monitor their progress.
4. Prepare monthly reports on the progress of the internal control campaign and the closure of action plans.
5. Inform the Internal Control Manager of any facts detected during his missions that could constitute acts contrary to the principles of internal control and governance of Safran Group.
6. Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control policies and procedures.
7. Participate in the continuous improvement of the internal control system (segregation of duties, deployment of continuous control KPIs, etc.).
8. Assist statutory auditors during their review of internal control providing requested documentation and information.
9. Support the Seats Internal Control Manager in monitoring the progress of action plans resulting from internal audits carried out by DACI (Audit and Internal Control Department).
Job Requirements
1. Qualified Accountant with experience in internal/external auditing and/or financial controls.
2. Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
3. Proficient in the use of all MS Office packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Knowledge of Info M3 ERP systems.
5. Experience of working within the Manufacturing sector.
Specificity of the Job
Travel requirements (UK / International) - occasional day travel to Brackley, Northants site and/or Paris with overnight stay.
