The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school and family of teachers, children and Governors. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, enthusiastic in their role and passionate about all children having the opportunity to reach their full potential. We seek someone who will have the highest expectations of our children and will inspire and engage them.
We are looking for a child-centred practitioner with:
* A HLTA qualification or is educated to an equivalent level.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Experience confidently leading whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.
* The ability to adapt to different situations and demonstrate flexibility when covering classes across the school.
* The ability to work effectively within a team. A commitment to the distinctive Christian nature of the Trust.
