Job Description: Deputy Head of Physical Education
Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, High Wycombe
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £180 - £215 Per day
Qualifications:
* Good honours degree or equivalent
* Qualified Teacher Status
Job Duties:
* Assist the Head of Physical Education in the overall management and development of the department
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Physical Education lessons to students
* Support the implementation of the school's Physical Education curriculum
* Lead and coordinate extracurricular sports activities and events
* Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to Physical Education within the school
Required Qualifications:
* Good honours degree or equivalent
* Qualified Teacher Status
Education:
* Degree in Physical Education or related field
* Teaching qualification
Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physical Education
* Experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* In-depth understanding of the Physical Education curriculum
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education
* Coaching qualifications in a specific sport
Working Conditions:

* Full-time position with occasional weekend or evening responsibilities
