Mobile Fitter – Mechanical / Diesel Pumps\n\nLocation: Various UK Sites (as specified)\nSalary: Competitive + Overtime + Company Vehicle\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nA leading provider in the pump rental industry is looking for a Mobile Fitter to join their busy PRS (Pump Rental Solutions) team. This is a field-based role ideal for someone with solid mechanical skills and experience in servicing and repairing diesel-powered equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Service, repair and maintain a fleet of diesel pumps and ancillary equipment\n\n * \n\n Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults both in the workshop and on customer sites\n\n * \n\n Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing\n\n * \n\n Complete inspection reports and submit job details via tablet system\n\n * \n\n Travel across various UK locations to meet customer requirements\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and complies with Health & Safety regulations\n\n * \n\n Maintain company vehicle and ensure tools and van stock are in good order\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nEssential:\n\n * \n\n Proven mechanical experience (e.g., diesel engines, pumps, or similar)\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)\n\n * \n\n Over 21 (for insurance purposes)\n\n * \n\n Flexible with travel, working outdoors, and occasional overtime/weekends\n\n * \n\n Good communication skills and ability to work independently\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n ONC or Level 2 BTEC in Mechanical Engineering or similar\n\n * \n\n Site safety awareness (e.g., knowledge of isolation procedures, CSCS card)\n\n * \n\n Experience on construction or utility sites\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary + overtime opportunities\n\n * \n\n Company van, tools & uniform provided\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training & development\n\n * \n\n Job stability with a well-respected industry leader\n\n * \n\n Varied work across multiple UK locations\n\nAre you a hands-on problem solver looking for a mobile, varied role?\nApply now to become a Mobile Fitter and join a team that values expertise, safety, and great service
