Job Title: Site Security Supervisor - Security
Annual Salary: £42,619.20
Monday to Friday, 60hrs per week

Job Objectives and Responsibilities
* To protect our customer's property, people, and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
* Delivering results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators/Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
* To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
* Service Supervisors will be responsible for the delivery of the contract services operation and their immediate shift and support forthcoming service from others.

* Being the Front-line Management's key point of contact and ensuring the Security team strives for and exceeds expectations on service excellence through first-class management, leadership, customer focus, and measured feedback, training, and development.

* To ensure that Mitie reacts efficiently and effectively in line with the SOP's set by M&S/Gist and Mitie SLT.

* Foster and develop effective relationships with M&S/Gist, GXO/DHL, and any other site-based contractor and other Mitie colleagues, maintaining a one team approach.
* Co-ordinate direct and sub-contract labour for optimum performance and to meet contractual requirements and obligations, with optimum cost to serve.

Main Duties
* Leading and maintaining high standards and ensuring the service delivery to the M&S customer.
* Attend client meetings when necessary.
* Promotion of all Mitie service lines to deliver sustainable excellence and maximum efficiency.
* Hold regular meetings to engage, motivate, and manage your team, developing and communicating the strategy.
* Ensure all team members go through the Mitie Induction.
* Support the Operations Managers with HR processes in accordance with Mitie policy and procedures.
* Attend internal and external stakeholder meetings.
* Accountable for performance of your site.
* Create a professional working culture between employees, contractors, and clients, sharing best practices.
* Coach and develop your team in all aspects of their role.
* Attend client review meetings when necessary.
* Comply with all Mitie policies and procedures.
* Comply with all Mitie Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring work is carried out in a safe manner.
* To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.

* Ensuring all the necessary training has been conducted and recorded correctly, including Security SIA licence, Site SOPs, and ATCR documents.
* To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
* Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, familiarising oneself with any changes in order to suggest additional amendments that will improve or enhance the current level of service.
* To be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (you are required to obtain a front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision), which must be worn at all times whilst carrying out your duties. The Customer also requires a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. There are also additional courses that are contractually required.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training and E-learning participation.
* To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Line Management.
