At Teaching Personnel we have the opportunity for graduates to gain relevant educational work experience whilst also being paid. A school based in Manchester is currently seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full time basis. The school itself is very welcoming and supportive, and offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in classroom environments. This role will be supporting an SEN child on a full time basis. The school itself is situated in Droylsden and is close to many public transport links and there is also access to staff car parks. The pay for this role will be £89.38-£100 per day.
Main Duties:
* Providing academic interventions and support on core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Support an SEN child on a 1:1 basis
* Deescalate challenging situations accordingly
* Support and provide consistent positive encouragement
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant field (early years, psychology etc)
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Efficient in behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
