About the HSE Manager job
1. Provide advice, guidance and support on all HSE matters across the site in order to comply with relevant legislation.
2. Take the lead in undertaking HSE and BCM audits and ensure creation and completion of action plans in line with company requirements.
3. Ensure site processes are met and adhered to relating to any statutory inspections by keeping up to date with Health & Safety legislations.
4. Develop and maintain risk assessments and SSOW whilst providing training and guidance.
The right candidate
1. Proven experience within a similar HSE Management role.
2. NEBOSH General Certificate Essential.
3. Ability to engage with stakeholders, fellow managers and customers at all levels both face to face and over the phone.
4. Hands on and empathetic approach to resolving Health & Safety issues.
5. Previous H&S responsibilities within a target focus environment.
