Description of main tasks:
1. Grow market share to achieve and exceed sales targets.
2. Generate sales through Industrial site assessments for specified area.
3. Design and implement a sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
4. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
5. Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team as and when required.
6. Identify emerging/new market sectors and trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
7. In conjunction with National Account Manager and General Manager, plan sales and marketing activity for the Central region in line with overall business strategy.
8. Forecasting and contingency planning with the National Account Manager.
9. Identify and generate new customer business opportunities.
10. Support customers and secure maximum value of business opportunities.
11. Develop a customer visit plan to ensure regular contact is maintained with all customers, including branch level throughout the area.
12. Regular reporting and recording of visits through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – salesforce.com, which includes daily administration e.g. customer details, customer visits, project tracking, meetings.
13. Liaise closely with the internal customer services team and Commercial Manager on sales activity in Central area.
14. Liaising with the technical marketing team on new product developments – recommending and pursuing product opportunities.
15. Maintain and progress project pipeline for specific area, documenting activities in salesforce.com.
16. Contribute to and participate in Demand Creation initiatives e.g. substitutions, specification management & selling process.
17. Conduct Continuing Professional Development (CPD) presentations and initiate technical/project meetings.
18. Follow up on promotion and marketing activities, including cross-selling and exhibitions. Propose and agree on new initiatives with the National Account Manager and General Manager for implementation and follow-up.
19. Educate clients within the Industrial segment on Armacell’s solutions to contribute to increased penetration in the market, including insulation contractors, site Maintenance Managers & site HSE/Sustainability Managers.
20. Work closely with the Commercial Manager and National Accounts Manager to create, manage, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and customized sales & marketing programs that are consistent with the channel strategy to intentionally optimize share within the geography/territory.
21. Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization.
22. Conduct effective local market research to identify opportunities to expand Armacell’s footprint within the Industrial services sector.
23. Maintain strong working knowledge of existing and new product offerings, as well as general industry technology.
24. Implement Mission Map structures and disciplines to fulfill all activities and tasks.
25. Participate and contribute to World-class Armacell Mindset Sales & Marketing initiatives.
