Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
2. Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality
3. Support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events
4. Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required
5. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
Personal Characteristics:
1. Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
2. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
3. Ability to keep calm under pressure
4. Confidence to work alone or as part of a team
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Passion to work with vulnerable adults
7. Desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
