Our Client is recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant in Crawley.
Job Description
1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Generate management reports and dashboards to track financial performance.
3. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.
4. Develop financial forecasts and rolling budgets to predict future financial performance.
5. Analyse and control costs by reviewing expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
6. Perform cost-benefit analysis for projects, new initiatives, and investments.
7. Assist in formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
8. Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
9. Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, suggesting strategies for risk mitigation and capitalising on opportunities.
10. Ensure financial practices comply with statutory requirements and internal policies.
The Successful Applicant
1. Proven experience in a similar accounts function.
2. The ability to analyse and interpret data.
3. Excellent planning and organising skills - able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
4. The ability to prioritise own workload to meet business needs.
5. Attention to detail when producing data, reports, or other analysis.
6. Experience as a Management Accountant.
7. May be working towards an accountancy degree.
