Nursing and Quality Support Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Nursing & Quality Support Administrator within the Nursing & Quality Directorate. This role supports the Deputy Director(s) of Nursing, as well as other Deputy and Assistant directors and the senior nurse management team within the Nursing & Quality portfolio. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has excellent communication skills, the ability to exercise tact and discretion as well as being able to use initiative, passion and drive to support the work of the team across the organisation. Experience in the NHS would be an advantage but is not essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be required to provide high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Director(s) of Nursing, as well as a number of senior nurse leads, and Deputy and Assistant directors. The post holder must have experience in diary management, note taking and agenda setting as this post provides support to multiple high-level meetings. A working knowledge of Healthroster, Datix, E-Proc and Camis would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)
* NVQ3 level Secretarial or Business Administrative qualification, or equivalent level of demonstrable experience
Knowledge
* Good working knowledge of medical terminology
* Ability to use Microsoft Office packages - for PowerPoint presentations, to develop and manipulate spreadsheets and databases
* Working knowledge of the Camis system
* Working knowledge of the use of MS Teams and SharePoint
Experience
* Exercise judgement when dealing with enquiries and resolving staff and patient problems.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
