Role: Business Analyst – 12 month FTC
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: Lacock, Wiltshire
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Stonegate Farmers are seeking a Business Analyst to join us on a 12 month FTC, working out of our Head Office in Wiltshire. Reporting into our IT Director, your primary role will be to support the delivery of efficient business processes, through the implementation of process change and system improvement. This includes performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, contributing to projects and management of small projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining our ERP (JD Edwards).
* Configuring functions and workflow to facilitate ERP (JD Edwards) integration with other applications.
* Defining requirements, scope and objectives related to business processes.
* Translating business requirements into systems solutions.
* Creating user guides, training material, policies, and other pertinent documentation for internal and external partners.
* Researching, troubleshooting, and mitigating transactional and other ERP issues.
* Performing business systems and workflow analysis and disseminating technical communications.
* Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships.
* Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers.
* Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
* Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
* Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.
* Develop and execute test plans.
* Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements.

Qualifications / Experience:
* Degree / Equivalent in Computer Sciences or related field (Preferred).
* 3 years’ experience within similar role.
* Experience implementing Finance, HR or Transport & Logistics systems.
* General knowledge of ERP/MRP applications and how they work for functional areas such as Finance, Order Management, Engineer to Order, Warehouse/Inventory and Reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to work with functional leaders and team members to discover, document, design and implement business processes in an ERP application platform.
* Basic Project Management skills to build, manage and execute a plan — both in terms of self-management as well as working with small process improvement teams.
* Ability to articulate, document and design transactional and analytical reports for delivery through reporting and analysis platforms.
* Proficient across Microsoft Word & Excel.
* Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.
