The role
As a Presales Consultant at Heywood, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Development team engage with, develop, and close new client opportunities. Your focus will be on delivering software demonstrations and answering initial technical questions, helping prospective clients understand how our solutions can meet their needs.
Key responsibilities include...
* Plan and deliver software demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, tailored to their needs
* Provide technical and product expertise to assist the Business Development team in qualifying potential opportunities
* Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and provide technical assistance
* Coach the Business Development team on technical aspects of our products and services.
Proposals and tenders
* Identify and understand the specific needs of prospective clients and work with the Product team to document the solution needed to meet those requirements
* Ensure these are reflected in tender responses and proposals
* Ensure client feedback is shared with product teams
* Support the Business Development and Business Support teams with responding to tenders, bids and proposal requests, specifically technical aspects
* Author and review proposal and tender responses.
* Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote the Company's solutions
* Support engagements with customers, prospects and market-makers as appropriate.
Additional responsibilities
* Provide training and workshops to customers and internal teams
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
* Travel frequently to meet clients, attend industry conferences, and support sales activities (can include international travel).
