Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in food and nutrition, catering to a diverse range of learning styles.
2. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational standards and the needs of all students.
3. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the food and nutrition program and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
6. Maintain a safe and well-organized teaching environment.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
2. Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
3. Experience teaching food and nutrition at the secondary level is preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Passion for food education and the ability to inspire students.
