Job Title: Social Worker
Location: Walsall
Rate: £32 per hour
Our client in Walsall is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Intermediate Care Services Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will enhance outcomes for adults with care and support needs and their carers. You will undertake effective strengths-based assessments, planning, and direct work with adults and carers, identifying needs in accordance with the Care Act 2014, statutory guidance, policy, and procedures. You will also be responsible for safeguarding duties to protect adults from abuse or neglect. Additionally, you will practice social work in a transparent, accountable, and safe manner, adhering to professional standards, ethics, and values.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Professional Qualification: A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
* Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
* Experience: Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
* Knowledge of Legislation: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
* Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
