We are recruiting for a Children and Young Person's Counsellor to join the team at Newcastle Hospice Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 - £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata) Hours/Contract: Permanent - Part Time - 30 hours per week (week days) Closing Date: 17th January 2024 Interview Date: w/c 3rd February 2024 Marie Curie is focused on long-term, sustainable impact and our ambition is for people diagnosed with life limiting illness to be supported and to have the best possible end of life experience, including all the things that are important to people at the end of their life. As a post holder you will need to provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss and provide support and advice to patients and carers in order that they feel able to support children and young people in their family. You will be working alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to Co-ordinate the Hospice's Children and Young Person's Counselling Service.
