The opportunity
Are you an aspiring Beauty Therapy and Nails Teacher eager to join a Grade 1 education provide at Barnsley College, we are seeking a passionate educator to support the next generation of beauty industry professionals during a part-time maternity cover contract.
We’re looking for someone who values the student experience and possesses a progressive knowledge base and skill set in the industry. Your role will involve delivering sessions that help students achieve their goals and advance in their education or careers.
As our new Teacher, you will deliver qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3, with a focus on our Level 2 and Level 3 Nails programmes. You will be part of a supportive team and will demonstrate your commitment to innovative teaching, learning, and assessment methods. Your creativity will drive positive change in the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and attitudes of our students, while enhancing their professional development.

About you
You are a highly motivated and learner-focused Nails and Beauty Teacher with a passion for inspiring and supporting students. Your progressive industry knowledge and skillset will be key in delivering engaging lessons, primarily on our Level 2 and Level 3 Nails programmes. You understand the importance of creating an excellent student experience and are committed to helping learners achieve their goals, whether that be further education, employment, or progression onto higher levels. As a part of our supportive team, you will use your innovative teaching methods to drive positive change in students’ knowledge, skills, behaviours, and attitudes.
