A well-established logistics business is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role offers exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with involvement in various aspects of finance operations, including sales invoicing, reconciliations, and credit control.\n\nWhat will the Accounts Assistant role involve?\n\nRaising Sales Invoices.\nCredit Control: Chase overdue debtors and set up new client accounts.\nPerform balance sheet and VAT reconciliations.\nPurchase Ledger: Assist with invoice posting.\nSuitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:\n\nEssential Competencies:\n\nExtensive experience in Sales and Purchase Ledger.\n\nStrong understanding of accounting principles.\n\nPositive and proactive attitude with the ability to challenge and question processes professionally.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.\n\nHighly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nKnowledge & Skills:\n\nFinance qualification (degree level or equivalent).\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level, no requirement for Pivot Tables or VLOOKUP).\n\nCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
