If you are an experienced pensions administrator and are looking for a new challenge, keep reading The Pension and Benefits Centre (P&BC) provides in-house administration services to the Trustee of the BBC Pension Scheme. The BBC Pension Scheme (the Scheme) is one of the largest occupational pension schemes in the UK, with around 50,000 members and assets of c£14 billion. The Scheme is functionally independent of the BBC, managed by a small Executive team with operations staff based in Cardiff. The Scheme closed to new joiners in 2010 but remains open for future accrual. The P&BC also supports the BBC's other pension arrangements including LifePlan, a contract-based defined contribution scheme administered by Aviva, and the NEST scheme. Your role will be to provide first-class administration services to members and employees of the Scheme. You will know what great service looks like and be able to demonstrate this when responding to pension scheme enquiries by telephone, post or email. Main Responsibilities Provide a high-quality administration service to Scheme members, employees and other key stakeholders by meeting agreed service levels and delivering an excellent member experience Respond to enquiries from members and colleagues by post, email and telephone Calculate member benefits including at retirement, on transferring and on death Support members accessing their benefit details online Monitor and manage own work volumes Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver against daily service level targets Are you the right candidate?
