The Opportunity Join Land Recovery Rail as part of Holcim as a Transport Planner, where youll be at the heart of our logistics operations. In this fast-paced and safety-focused role, youll be responsible for planning fleet movements, coordinating driver schedules, and ensuring full compliance with transport legislation. Key Responsibilities Plan daily vehicle movements to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transport operations. Coordinate driver rotas, ensuring adherence to Working Time Regulations and operational requirements. Support the implementation and ongoing compliance with FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme). Monitor tachograph data and manage driver infringements with appropriate follow-up actions. Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to promote and maintain a strong safety culture. Ensure vocational driver qualifications and CPCs are kept up to date and aligned with operational needs. Manage the reporting and resolution of vehicle defects, working alongside the Maintenance Manager. Contribute to driver development by supporting inductions, training plans, and briefings. Maintain accurate transport records, systems, and reporting tools. Who You Are You're a detail-driven and proactive professional with a passion for logistics and people management. With a strong understanding of fleet operations and transport compliance, you thrive under pressure and have a knack for solving operational challenges quickly and efficiently. Background in transport or logistics planning, preferably with knowledge of HGV and low loader/ tipper operations. Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills with an analytical mindset.
