The Role:
• Whether static or animated, your work contribution will be used across an extensive media portfolio including point of sale, online, in print and in social media campaigns.
• They are looking for a senior graphic designer to create and manage digital and print designs for our marketing needs. Responsibilities include managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, and generating creative ideas.
• You should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques. You should also have experience in implementing marketing campaigns. You will be confident in promoting and executing the vision of the company through high-quality design and digital content.
• The role also requires keeping in touch with design trends undertaking research and application.
• Designing graphic content, illustrations, and infographics (e.g., campaigns, newsletter presentations, brand brochures, product and packaging visualisation, gift boxes, POS, mock ups etc.)
• Managing graphic designs from conception to delivery for products, packaging marketing initiatives. Source and create beautiful, unique and inspiring content to help drive the brand across all its touchpoints through strong storytelling.
• Execute on creative briefs for business and marketing objectives into ideas that are clear, visually exciting, and engaging within brand visual identity guidelines.
• Reviewing junior designer drafts to ensure quality.
• Manage commercial assets, SM assets.
• Generating fresh concepts.
• Ensuring brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
• Liaising between the sales, marketing, digital and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Keeping up to date with industry developments. Guard the brand maintaining global visual language across all channels and markets.
• Support the development of creative content (talent suggestions, mood boards, pre-shoot concepts, etc.).
• Design innovation – constantly looking for new and improved ways to express the brand.
• Ensure brand story, DNA and values are well communicated in the point of sale.
• Understand the process of design for print, digital and social platforms.
• Organize production of assets and communicate well with in-house design team.
Requirements:
• You will have a Design qualification or similar. 4 years minimum Graphic Design experience within an in-house, design, or agency setting.
• Current and fluent knowledge of key design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Must have a strong creative eye for imagery, aesthetics and be able to build on what is working for the brand.
• Experience developing campaigns from concept to execution.
• Solid forward planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a demanding and varied workload.
• Knowledge of packaging artwork/repro/print/production/finishing processes.
• Drawing / Illustration and 3D rendering skills a plus.
• Ability to take direction from Creative Directors and Marketing team and provide multiple solutions with limited direction.
• Portfolio with design projects.
• Strong technical background with proven work experience.
• Working experience with image design tools (e.g., Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
• Aesthetic skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
• Be a creative thinker keen on developing existing skills as well as learning new ones.
• Be team spirited with the ability to learn and teach others.
• Be positive, proactive, self-motivated and interested.
