Position: Team Leader
Hours: Up to 40hrs Available
Salary: £12.30 per hour

Team Leaders provide a vital part in assisting the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.
We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team in Amesbury.
You can expect:
1. Specialist and Blended Training and Development – we believe in promoting from within.
2. Enhanced Training that includes Induction Training, Service Specific, as well as opportunities to complete a Care Certificate and NVQ/QCF.

Team Leader Role and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the senior management to assess the needs of the people we support, using a Person-Centred Framework and the Supporting People Initiative.
2. Facilitate and support the people we support to integrate within their local community.
3. Identify training needs of other staff and coordinate training initiatives in consultation with the Registered Manager.
4. Work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service delivery in conjunction with other colleagues.
5. Keep up-to-date with changes by participating in discussions, training sessions, and workshops when required.
6. Maintain a full understanding of Care Standards.
7. Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and morale by encouraging and motivating staff by personal example and appearance.
8. Assist management with the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of staff work and practices.
9. Coordinate the arrangements of resident appointments.
10. Assist management in organizing regular (monthly) House meetings.
11. Administer medications when required, in line with prescription guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. A Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
2. Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours.
3. Experience mentoring others in a team.
4. Driver's license.
