We work with local authorities, developers, house builders and property owners to reduce costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions through innovative design and proactive intelligence led system operations and optimisation.
With the decarbonisation of our heating systems now becoming a national imperative we are experiencing rapid growth in demand for the design, build, operation, and maintenance of low carbon district heating systems and for the decarbonization of existing building heating systems, especially to replace distributed fossil fuel heating with centralised low carbon heat generation.

Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organised, self-motivated and able to lead and manage projects. The company is set to grow very quickly over the next five years and we are looking for someone to rise to the challenge alongside us. The candidate will be able to work as part of a team and take ownership and fulfil their tasks on time.
The candidate will need to be comfortable communicating with team members, customers and clients and with contractors and specialist suppliers. They will be personable and a good communicator.
It is important in this role that you are well organised, forward looking, able to plan for challenges and effectively self-manage your work to ensure we deliver on time and with high quality.
Role
In this role you will work closely with the Contract Management and Customer Services Teams to support the business manage its customer income recovery. With over 10,000 customers on our District Heat Networks, you will work to ensure our processes are delivered to reduce our customer debt levels.
As we are a rapidly growing, there is opportunity develop your career in a friendly environment. Therefore, the candidate would be seeking to broaden their skills horizon. This position will give you the opportunity to ‘own’ projects and take on accountability.
Reporting Structure
* Reports to: Customer Service Account Manager
Specific Tasks
Participating on the delivery of our projects during their operational phases, tasks would include:
* Manage the issuance of email and paper debt warnings to relevant customers
* Review customer accounts which require paper communications, inclusive of debt warnings
* Making outbound calls to customers to obtain payments
* Communication with customers at risk of supply suspension
* Communication with customers moving out to maximise revenue recovery
* Review customer information to ensure contact details are correct to maximise the impact of communication efforts
* Undertake customer account reconciliations to ensure the correct residents are being billed and details are received
* Analysis of billing and debt data to consider trends and strategy to recover income
Knowledge and Qualifications
* Experience with managing multiple tasks
* Ideally experience of managing your own projects with minimal supervision.
Skills
* Fully IT proficient; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email systems etc as a minimum
* Problem solving
* Attention to detail and a ‘right first time’ approach.
* Able to work as a member of a team.
* Excellent communication and presentations skills, written and in meetings.
* Good organisational, time management and planning skills to enable you to adapt to multiple clients and contracts
* A willingness to take ownership of a project and see it through to completion
* Willingness to think differently, to innovate and to proactively look for new and better solutions.
* Solid analytical skills, comfortable with interpreting data to assess viability and drive solution development.
* A willingness to travel within the UK if required.
Remuneration and Key Information
* Remuneration: £22,000 to £24,000 per annum (DOE)
* Discretionary bonus based on individual and business performance.
