A European market leader in high-performance technical solutions for the built environment is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Sales Director to lead its UK sales operations. With innovation at the heart of its offering and a strong global presence, the company is entering a critical growth phase and needs a proven sales leader to help shape its future.
The Opportunity
You'll take the helm of a high-performing sales organization and drive strategic sales initiatives across both project and wholesale channels. Working closely with senior stakeholders including the CCO, Supply Chain, and Sales Ops, you'll bring together insight, execution, and leadership to capture long-term market value.
This role demands more than revenue growth — it's about vision, market foresight, and building strategic capability for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a robust regional sales strategy aligned with global business direction
Identify and respond to geo-political, macroeconomic and development trends shaping the market
Lead and inspire a team of Sales Managers, KAMs, and Project Sales Managers
Act as a commercial ambassador, nurturing long-term partnerships with strategic accounts
Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, operations, and financial performance
Own the delivery of KPIs across revenue, margin, and operational efficiency
Support organizational transformation and future-proofing of the sales function

Proven track record in senior sales leadership within a complex, B2B technical environment
Strong commercial instincts, with a firm grasp of market dynamics and customer needs
Strategic thinker with the ability to spot emerging trends and act on them
Hands-on leader and coach who builds high-performing, motivated teams
Fluent in sales operations, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making
Experience in the built environment, HVAC, or mechanical/electrical sectors is highly desirable
