More about the role:
As Conference & Events Manager you will be in a hands-on role. Your duties will include:
1. Overall responsibility for delivering excellent service in fast-paced quality C&E operations with key segments of weddings, client events and small meetings, ensuring the highest standards and excellent customer service.
2. Working closely with General Manager and Sales Manager.
3. Lead and manage a large variable team.
4. Train, develop and upskill the team and look at PDP to ensure we promote and grow within.
5. Compile rotas in line with budget and business needs making sure we are not over or understaffed.
6. Manage customer feedback forum and put action plans together.
7. Oversee the delivery of all C&E bookings ensuring we upsell and fully understand the C&E requirements.
Who you are:
Our Ideal Manager will:
1. Have knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality department.
2. Have previous experience of managing a team.
3. Possess excellent people management and communication skills.
4. Have excellent organisational skills.
5. Be flexible in regards to working hours.
6. Have experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results.
7. Be able to work in a pressurised environment and able to multi-task.
8. Have an understanding of P&L accounts.
