Role Overview: As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will: Teaching and Curriculum: Deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Develop, plan, and adapt curriculum materials that align with school objectives and national standards. Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development. Use data from assessments to inform teaching, close learning gaps, and offer individualized support to meet student needs. Professional Development: Engage in self-reflection and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department and school. Participate in wider school life by supporting extracurricular activities, school events, and community initiatives. Candidate Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related discipline (desirable).
