Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical). In this role, you will travel across your region to manage and develop teams in various care homes.
Your primary responsibility will be to help implement action plans that ensure our residents' needs are met. You will work closely with the General Manager or hiring manager to achieve this goal.
In addition to your management duties, you will also take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager. This will involve helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications. These include:
* A Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) qualification with current NMC registration
* A teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification
* Previous experience of working within a nursing home setting
* Evidence of continual professional development
* Experience in helping residents with different health needs
* A successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
* Some HR experience
* A strong knowledge of sales and marketing
* An understanding of budget management
* A track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
You will also need to be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in an engaging and energetic environment. Finally, due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.
