Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 39 year old lady living in the Treorchy area, I enjoy watching Netflix crime documentaries and friends. I also love to watch strictly come dancing, the soaps and I am a celeb! I am a big fan of Take That especially Gary Barlow. I have had a stroke which has affected the whole of my right hand side, I can walk but its limited and I have a wheelchair for when I am out in the community, I may also need at times prompting with my memory.
The job role is to cover maternity and annual leave for my current Personal assistant, the location is mainly to go out in the community. I will occasionally need assistance with the toilet as some toilets are small and challenging for my wheelchair.

To support and assist me out in the community and in the home.

HOURS OF WORK
6 hours per week
RATE OF PAY
£13.50 per hour
TASKS INVOLVED
Going to the park.
Taking me out shopping.
Light chores around the house/ carry in the washing basket.
Out for lunch/coffee.
Going to the cinema.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Chatty and friendly person.
Someone who will encourage me to build my confidence.
Car driver to drive my mobility vehicle.
A reliable and punctual person.
A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else’s home.
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
