The difference you will make as an Efficiency Operational Lead
You’ll work alongside the Group leadership to develop and deliver the efficiency savings plan and as per the group objectives, ensuring strategy and practices are coherent, financially robust and reflect an increasingly progressive marketplace.
Reporting to an Executive Director, you’ll lead a review of the current efficiency savings and group operating functions by collaborating and working in partnership with senior teams to identify efficiency opportunities, optimising resources where possible through either duplication or automation, in line with integration objectives.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience of carrying out business process reviews and analysis with an understanding of definition, inception, design methods and project management techniques.
* Demonstrable knowledge (and experience) across the board of all group functions and customer requirements at a senior level.
* Experience of delivering change within a complex, multi-site organisation.
* Proven track record of analysing and interpreting data including financial information and have effective writing skills to develop business cases and write reports.

Role Profile
Reporting to an appointed Executive Director, the post holder will:
* Lead a review of the current efficiency savings and group operating functions by collaborating and working in partnership with senior teams to identify efficiency opportunities, optimising resources where possible through either duplication or automation, in line with integration objectives.
* Identify processes and frameworks to seek improvements of business functions by recognising best practice, opportunities for continuous improvement and making recommendations for efficiency savings.
* In partnership with the Group leadership teams lead on the development of proposals for the targeted or transitional change.
* Work in partnership with all stakeholders and functions to develop a business process review to successfully deliver an efficiency savings project within the prescribed time scale.
* Working with the appointed Executive Director to identify a clear and approved efficiency savings plan that will be delivered across the group within an agreed time frame, whilst working with all stakeholders and appropriate functions.
Leading Efficiency Savings (or initiatives) Opportunities
* Work alongside the Group leadership to develop and deliver the efficiency savings plan and as per the group objectives. Ensure strategy and practices are coherent, financially robust and reflect an increasingly progressive marketplace.
* Work effectively with Group leadership teams supporting, challenging, and collaborating on all matters related to operational efficiency savings (or initiatives), working with “subject matter experts” to shape the business strategy and direction as appropriate.
* Identify and produce business cases on all efficiency savings (or initiative) projects to the leading Executive Director for review and approval at the appropriate governance committee.
* Provide regular reports to the appropriate governance committee for the Group. Ensure highly effective communication securing understanding and support for requirements, impact, and future direction.

Leading Service Change & Delivery
Lead The Successful Delivery Of The Efficiency Savings (or Initiatives) Programme On Behalf Of The Group. Driving a Culture Of Continuous Service Improvement, Promoting Cross-organisational Collaboration To Deliver Best Practice Services By:
* Identifying and prioritising the change requirements for all functions as part of an efficiency savings (or initiatives) roadmap, providing expertise and advice to support function heads. Providing a clear scope and framework to be able to identify key outputs for integrating the business functions across both organisations.
* Working with Business Leads to develop “efficiency savings (or initiative) business case proposals” that demonstrate functional outputs, high level requirements, benefits and efficiency savings. Identifying risks along with a high-level implementation plan with timescales to be approved by relevant parties.
* Supporting business function leads to ensure they have competent delivery plans that capture all activities with an implementation plans that ensures a smooth transition to “business as usual” which meets the objectives of the business cases.
* Identifying and implementing a reporting process in collaboration with the business leads to highlight progress, risks and adherence to the business cases.
* Acting as the primary lead for the “Efficiency Savings (or initiatives) Project” and be responsible for providing timely and relevant updates on the road map in line with business case proposals, whilst understanding the Group’s priorities, potential impact and overall integration plan and contributing where relevant.
* Supporting cross-organisational projects or activities ensuring alignment to the Group’s strategic objectives.
* Collaborating with our finance team and being responsible for recording and reporting all efficiency savings as a result of the proposed change, to ensure the business case objectives are met to sustain the agreed business viability for each function and report as required.
* Collaborating with key stakeholders, being able to influence and build constructive relationships to ensure the integration is planned and delivered effectively as the business proposal.
* Leading on a “Efficiency Savings (or initiatives) Project” communications strategy to ensure colleagues are updated at all relevant stages to delivering a successful integration to the benefit of our customers.
* Being responsive to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertaking other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.
* Acting as the main point of contact for “Efficiency Savings (or initiatives) Project”, dealing with all new requirements for change, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
