Lead Electrician
- Full training to become a "Project Engineer" for a world leading engineering company
- £40-£41k basic, £6k car allowance / car, & bonus (£4k-£5k), company credit card, BUPA, iPhone & double pension & more
The Overview:
Are you a senior electrical professional who has maybe hit a glass ceiling? Tired of supervising a "gang of subbies" on projects? Or fancy a change from being "hands on" in a role that is the next natural step in your career?
Fancy using your knowledge to become a full "Project Engineer" for a world leading electrical manufacturer, running projects in sectors like rail, healthcare, and manufacturing?
We have a track record of placing people in this company over the last 12 years across the UK. Every single person (that's 21!) is still there, with 7 of them promoted into more senior roles. It offers you the opportunity to be trained on unique equipment that will undoubtedly further your career.
This rare opportunity seeks someone who can grow into a project role with a view to even larger career opportunities. With the basic salary, car allowance, and bonus, this will easily exceed £50k a year for you.
The Role:
The company has a team of Project Engineers across the UK and is looking for someone to run and manage projects with a focus on rail. We are open to the sector you come from, as long as you have sharp electrical experience and an understanding of how projects work.
You will be trained on all their equipment, working with directors of client companies and building relationships. The role is home-based, allowing you to plan and manage your own days with real autonomy, being on-site when needed.
About You:
We typically look for electrical professionals eager to develop their skill set on bigger, more complex equipment or those who have hit a "glass ceiling". You must be able to read electrical diagrams and have run projects in some capacity, but the equipment will be new, and we seek someone who wants to learn and develop their career.
Our Client:
We have worked with major electrical players globally. This multinational company is present on every continent except Antarctica and is organically growing in the UK, expanding by 25% in the last 4 years. They manufacture their own electrical equipment for numerous sectors worldwide and train new staff on complex equipment that will be new to your skill set.
What Next:
If this opportunity appeals to you, send your CV through, and I will be more than happy to discuss this in more detail.
