Role as a Geotechnical Engineer, joining a team of 12 in Manchester, working with one of the UK's favourite multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.
Varied pipeline: Working across the power, rail, nuclear, life science, aviation, defence and highways sectors.
Established team: The ground engineering team of 20 has 12 based in Manchester, presenting the opportunity to support junior team members whilst learning from chartered engineers and team leaders.
Multidisciplinary environment: You will work closely with the Civil & Structural engineering teams on every project, picking work up in early planning stages and taking them through to construction.
Development opportunity: You will be exposed to a full range of ground conditions, undertaking all aspects of design, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with other disciplines, representing the company in design meetings, and doing some project management whilst you progress. As a growth area of the business, the opportunity to lead on projects presents itself.

Requirements:
1. Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (or Equivalent).
2. Working toward chartered status through an appropriate body (ICE, GeolSoc, IMMM).
3. Experience in a consultancy, within ground engineering.
4. Experience in the delivery of studies, specifications, interpretive reporting, and aspects of geotechnical design.
5. Ideally, 3-6 years' of relevant UK engineering experience.
