Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Urology Nurse at Epsom Hospital's Urology Centre. We seek a committed individual passionate about improving our service in a busy acute hospital.
The goal of this position is to uphold high standards of clinical practice and care consistent with the Trust's core values, contributing to a competent, specialized Urology service that positively impacts patients and carers.
Although our skilled nursing staff will provide thorough training and assistance, some surgical nursing experience is required.
You will work alongside the Urology Nursing Team and Urology Consultants, gaining experience in various therapeutic interventions/investigations in the urology sector, along with comprehensive training and development assistance.
Main duties of the job
This Band 5 post will involve overseeing a multifarious specialty that encompasses flexible cystoscopy, urological therapies, lithotripsy, and outpatient clinics. The position will also provide training to assist with local template biopsy lists.
