Element has an opportunity for a Technical Manager based in Lancaster. In this role you will be a member of the operational leadership team reporting to the General Manager and perform a variety of leadership responsibilities within the department to insure timely and accurate test results are delivered. All Operational Leadership positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Working to ensure necessary accreditations are maintained - Audit preparation and participation Specification and procedure reviews Preparing and approving technical reports Developing technologies to support the laboratory's growth Customer interaction - Lead technical discussions when required Prepare reports for senior management if required Providing technical support during the quotation process Responsible for the upkeep of training/competence records Ensure compliance with Element internal procedures and QMS Any other duties as reasonably requested by the General Manager MSC in a related field would be advantageous Experience working in an 17025 and Nadcap accredited laboratory is essential Experience with managing a team Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
