Role Overview As an Art Teacher, you will lead inspiring lessons that develop students creativity, technical skills, and appreciation of art. Youll have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 for the right candidate), fostering a love of the arts in a supportive and dynamic classroom. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5). Create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment for students to explore various artistic mediums. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Encourage students to develop their creativity, confidence, and self-expression. The Ideal Candidate A qualified teacher with QTS (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent). Passionate about teaching Art with strong subject knowledge. Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential). A creative, motivated, and flexible approach to teaching.
